Strawberries & Cream Homemade Banana Ice Cream with coconut sprinkles and fresh strawberries


With warmer weather on the rise, this recipe by Katie-Rose Campbell from @seewanteat_ is going to be perfect. A homemade, nutritious and delicious alternative to store-bought ice creams. Only 4 ingredients and 4 steps. Here's what you'll need:

  • 3 bananas, frozen overnight

  • 6-8 fresh strawberries, frozen overnight

  • 270ml can of light coconut milk

  • 30g serve of THRIVE strawberries and cream protein powder 

Here's how to make it:

  1. Freeze the banana and strawberries overnight or for at least 6 hours

  2. Add frozen bananas, strawberries, coconut milk and protein powder to a food processor and blend until thick and creamy

  3. Transfer to a freezer-safe container or baking tin and freeze for 1-2 hours before serving

  4. Let sit at room temperature for 10-15 minutes before serving and use a hot spoon or scoop to serve
