Hello NH mums,
I’m so happy to finally be a part of the club and join you on this new journey of motherhood. Since announcing our rainbow baby earlier this year, I have been obsessed with researching the best products for baby and I. Being the control freak I am, the process of researching made me feel somewhat in control of the huge life-changing chapter I was about to embark on. I’m so lucky to have friends and family with babies, so after picking their brains about every little detail of motherhood, I began to notice how much breastfeeding, in particular, came up.
When I was in my first trimester, one of my good friends had just had a baby and expressed that she was feeling overwhelmed and stressed that she didn’t have enough milk supply. I started to research lactation products to help her and bought a few products for her to try. It was a disaster, to say the least. She had a not-so-great reaction to the gluten and dairy in the product. I started to dig deeper into lactation products and realised most of them contained gluten and dairy as a by-product as ingredients like oats have been proven to help your milk supply.
This is when I sat down with Coopa (my brother and co-founder of Naked Harvest) and our amazing food technician and said, “we need to create a natural, gluten-free and, dairy-free lactation product for mothers embarking on their breastfeeding journeys, and we need to do it before I give birth!!!”
I am so excited to introduce Mylk Shake to you.
Mylk Shake is here to provide mums with the ultimate postpartum lactation support. Formulated with essential vitamins, protein, fibre, superfoods, and unique herbs, our vegan lactation powder is equipped with the perfect nutritional support to naturally boost your breast milk supply. This blend is also packed with essential vitamins needed to assist with the loss of nutrients experienced whilst breastfeeding and being a mother.
Our range is vegan, gluten-free, refined-sugar-free, and contains absolutely NO nasties. To the NH mums, I hope you enjoy this range as much as I do, and it helps to relieve some of the stress that comes with being a new mum.
Love always, Georgie xx
