Vanilla Shortbread Energy Bites
Need a yummy snack with an epic energy boost? We've got just the thing! Our vanilla shortbread energy bites are the perfect post-workout or midday snack. They're packed full of fibre & protein, and are so deliciously sweet you won't believe it's refined sugar free, dairy free AND vegan!
Ingredients:
- 1/2 cup of quick oats
- ½ cup of Vanilla Shortbread Thrive Plant Protein
- ½ cup almonds
- 2 tbsp of hulled tahini
- 1/3 rice malt syrup/maple syrup
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1 tsp vanilla essence
- 4-5 tbsp nut milk
How to:
- Add all dry ingredients into a food processor or blender and blitz. Add wet ingredients and blitz again.
- Shape the mixture into medium-sized balls and place in the fridge/freezer to firm up for 30mins.
Makes: 9 balls
Leave in the fridge for up to a week.
