Strawberry & Cream Slice
A slice of heaven. The ultimate raw, vegan treat. A super simple recipe by Jess from @plantnourished. This strawberries and Cream slice contains not one but two of our delicious THRIVE plant proteins, packed with superfoods and minerals. Can you guess which ones?
Here's what you'll need:
Base
- 1/2 cup datesÂ
- 1/4 cup cashewsÂ
- 1 cup almond mealÂ
- 1/2 cup macadamias
- Pinch saltÂ
- 2 tbsp rice maltÂ
- 1 tbsp NHÂ THRIVEÂ vanilla pancake batter plant protein
- 1 tbsp coconut flourÂ
Strawberries & Cream layer
- 1 cup soaked cashewsÂ
- 3 tbsp canned coconut milkÂ
- 2 tbsp NH THRIVE Strawberries and Cream plant protein
- 1/4 cup fresh strawberries (about 3-4)
- 1 tsp vanilla extractÂ
- 2 tbsp lemon juice (1 lemon)Â
Optional: 🍓 top with strawberries
Here's how to make it:
1. Combine base ingredients into a lined slice tin.
2. Put in freezer whilst preparing middle layer.
3. Combine middle layer in a processor & evenly spread on base.
4. Top with strawberries (optional).
5. Freeze for 2 hours or until set.
