Becoming more active & fit has forever been a new year’s resolution of mine. When I first began my fitness journey, I used to train 7 days a week, ignore my body’s needs, and almost wear my muscle fatigue and exhaustion as a badge of honour. Improper recovery not only negatively impacts our motivation and stalls progress, but can also lead to hormonal upset, anxiety, irritability. It’s no wonder why I’d constantly give up my fitness journey as quickly as I started!
