Baked Chocolate Cake Donuts

These donuts will drive you GLAZY! 🍩 Once you have tasted these irresistibly delicious Baked Chocolate Cake Donuts created by @thefoodarrondissement, there’ll be no going back! With a dash of our best selling Hot Chocolate Moon Mylk, your sugar cravings will be cured & you’ll be feeling relaxed in no time 🌙

HERE’S WHAT YOU’LL NEED:

Donut base:
  • 1 cup of plain flour
  • ½ cup of caster sugar (or stevia)
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • ½ teaspoon baking soda
  • 2 tablespoon cocoa powder
  • 2 tablespoon NH Hot Chocolate Moon Mylk
  • ÂĽ cup natural vanilla yogurt (or greek yogurt)
  • ½ cup plant based milk
  • 2 tablespoons Agave Nectar 
  • 2 tablespoons coconut oil (melted)
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla essence
Chocolate glaze:

HERE’S HOW TO MAKE IT:

Donut:
  1. Firstly, preheat oven to 180*C and grease a donut tray.
  2. In a bowl, combine the flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, cocoa powder and NH Hot Chocolate Moon Mylk. Mix together.
  3. In a larger bowel, mix together the yogurt, milk, agave nectar, melted coconut oil and vanilla essence until smooth.
  4. Gradually add the dry mixture into the wet mixture. Combine until no lumps remain.
  5. Place the donut batter into a piping bag and pipe the batter into the donut trays.
  6. Place into the oven and bake for 10minutes. 
  7. Once baked, allow them to cool in the tray for 5-10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
  8. Once they have completely cooled, begin making the glaze.
Chocolate glaze:
  1. Combine the icing sugar, NH Hot Chocolate Moon Mylk, cocoa powder and milk together. Mix them with a whisk to ensure no lumps remain.
  2. Dip one side of the donut in the icing and allow them to sit and dry on a wire rack
  3. Top the donuts with your preferred toppings whilst the glaze is still wet.
  4. Once the glaze has cooled and hardened. Then ENJOY!
